Our Autumn 2012 production will be Rossini’s La Cenerentola (Cinderella)
Performances will be at the Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds on Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11th, 12th and 13th October 2012.
In this production, the wicked stepmother is replaced by a stepfather, Don Magnifico; the Fairy Godmother by Alidoro, a philosopher and the Prince’s tutor. It will be a witty and exciting production, set in the 1940s. Peter Cowdrey will be our Musical Director. Rosie Johnston, making her debut with Suffolk Opera, will be Artistic Director.
