The first of these will be a concert at The Apex, Bury St. Edmunds on 5th July. The format for this event is to perform a number of well known extracts by soloists and the Suffolk Opera chorus.  The event will benefit both Suffolk Opera and St. Nicholas Hospice.  Peter Cowdrey, our Musical Director, will oversee the event and rehearsals for the chorus will be led by Gill Garside.

Secondly, our Autumn production will be Rossini’s La Cenerentola.  So, there is a lot to keep us occupied over the coming months.

We are therefore holding an open rehearsal to introduce you to the music we are intending to perform at The Apex.  We would like to encourage you and anyone else you may know who would like to come and join us, to an open rehearsal at The Hyndman Centre, Hospital Road, Bury St. Edmunds IP33 3JT on Tuesday 24th April from 7.30 p.m – 10 p.m.  We will be joined by Rosie Johnston, the Artistic Director for our autumn production of La Cenerentola, and Peter Cowdrey, the Musical Director.

The charities that benefitted were The Norfolk & Norwich Association for the Blind and The Nancy Oldfield Trust.
